Pedaling the 73 miles from Brantford, Ontario to Niagara Falls, we saw more land that could have been Illinois. Canadians are excellent gardeners and many, many home have their yards full of flowers. Their handsome maple leaf flag is widely displayed. Never have I seen larger hydrangea blooms than here.We dodged frequent showers today, and got wet but never drenched. Approaching Niagara Falls the land got hilly, the Short Hills area I think they call it, and there was heavy forest again. Brantford seemed to be in an area that was initially prairie.

Entering Niagara Falls from Canada presents a beautiful
view. We then crossed the Rainbow Bridge into New York: 8 states now and one province.
After dinner we walked backed to the Canadian side after exploring the US side of the Falls. At night the Falls are illuminate with colored lights and they are very beautiful with the moon overhead.
