Since my last entry I have ridden 3 times. All of these were easy rides, as we are supposed to be tapering down in preparation for our upcoming ride. A 5.28 mile ride in the rain on June 11 to determine if a pair of wind pants I have were waterproof, they were not. On June 12th a 44 mile ride to Wyoming, IL with to Tom just to stay loose and, a 33 mile ride to Princeville on June 17th, again with Tom. Riding today was out of the question as I spent the day doing last minute stuff and cleaning up after a huge wind storm last night which filled the yard with sticks and leaves, but fortunately no down trees. Tomorrow promises to be another full day with many last minute errands and then it on the plane to Portland on Saturday.
