Yesterday I picked up our bikes and then met Tom at FedEx where our bikes now well packed in boxes were inspected by the FedEx agent and declared to be well packed and fit to travel. So they are on their way and should be delivered to the Holiday Inn Express in Astoria OR next Monday the 15th. Today I was feeling a little stale and perhaps guilty since I had not ridden for a few days so I rode to Camp Grove to take care of a little unfinished business. Thus killing two birds with one stone, getting a 52 mile ride in and saving a few dollars worth of gas and the miles on the car. Unfortunately Tom was could not join me, but maybe I can get him on the road tomorrow. He is normally more faithful in his training than I am. That's why I will be following him from Astoria to Portsmouth. Too bad, because they say if your not in front the scenery never changes.
