Just a quick note. we are alive and well. the last two days have been, Friday was so long, it was take care of the necessities and get to bed as quickly as possible. Friday had two major climbs (5000) feet, elevations to follow later and 117 miles distance. Saturday had three major climb and 81 miles in distance. we are in high desert, but there are some lush green meadows. in the mountain passes when we are going up to the passes we are surrounded by trees on both sides which change in type as we change locations. The last 30 miles were a decline occasionally tipping up 1 or 2 percent. But for the most part we were riding beside a mountain stream which grew wider and wider as we went down. It looked very cool and refreshing and I thought of soaking a couple parts of my distressed anatomy it, but did not. You bikers will understand. More detail and pictures later.
